the july edition of what makes me smile… an A-Z guide.

AMAZING. I heart this word.

Black Rabbit Fur Coat. After my love affair with my ultra glamorous black wool coat ended, thanks to some low life ASSHOLE who pinched it, I am now the proud owner of a beautiful black rabbit fur coat. Very luxe. Vintage, darling!

Chocolate Coated Strawberries from Paddington Fresh Foods, 348 Oxford St, Paddington 2021

Dale Delaporte, my AMAZING hairdresser who makes me feel absolutely fucking fabulous every time I pay him a visit. I can sit back and relax, not even glancing at the mirror to ‘check’ if what I asked for is coming into fruition. Because I know I am in very, very, VERY good hands. Dale you are divine!

Eating out. Wining and dining is one of my favourite pastimes.

Flirting.

Givenchy’s Very Irresistable. A weapon of mass seduction.

Harpers BAZAAR: I heart Australia’s #1 Fashion Magazine.

Idolising Kim Kardashian. Why not? She’s hot, and fucking fabulous as well.

Joking around with the girls at Zomp.

Knowing that in four weeks time, I will have my ass slapped firmly on Playa de la Fontanilla, Marbella, Spain.

Lime Caprioskas on Sunday evenings at Gazebo Wine Garden: 2 Elizabeth Bay Road, Elizabeth Bay.

MYTH lipstick by M.A.C, worn as a gloss during the day with Elizabeth Arden’s Eight-Hour balm underneath. For night time glamour, lips lined with M.A.C’s Subculture. Très Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian-esque. (Kim does used Subculture, check it out here and refer to step 10.)

New found love for cooking. I want to stay home and cook a new dish everyday. Don’t tell anyone I said this. It’s extremely out of character for me.

Obedient children in my shoe store. There is nothing worse than screaming, crying, spoilt children. Sigh.

PAYDAY $$$$$$ ch-ch-ching! Time is money and money is everything in the big smoke.

Quality time spent at the gym.

Reading. I am a bookworm, a nerd, whatever you want to call it. I am so busy these days I would love to take a week off work so I can read to my heart’s content. I think that there is so much knowledge to be gained from books, I want a piece of it all so I can be a semi-know-it-all…

Surry Hills. The suburb I live in is fabulous in its own sense. I walk to both of my jobs, I live around the corner from my gym. I can walk home from a night out in Kings Cross and my local Woolworths is open til midnight every night of the week. Central Station is but a ten minute stroll down Foveaux Street, and the beautiful view of the city from the Domain is a mere twenty minute walk away. Bars, restaurants and thriving cafés on every single tree-lined street, terrace houses juxtaposed with giant warehouse apartments… vintage shops with luxurious steals tucked here and there, amazing designer furniture stores, Bourke St Bakery, Wheels & Doll Baby… need I say more? My rent is expensive… but worth it.

Tracksuit. It’s winter. I live in it.

Usher’s new album, Here I Stand.

V•ANESSA my best friend who I would be truly lost without… “to the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.”

Walks around Centennial Park, early in the morning. One thing I definitely don’t take for granted.

X-rated lingerie by Pleasure State. Things that make you go, ‘mmm!’

My Youth. I used to hate being young and perceived as young. I’m 22 baby, minus wrinkles, a mortgage, divorce and mid-life crisis. Bring the youth on.

Ziggy, a friend I like to go out and schmooze with.
