Let’s not get into a big d&m about the meaning of beauty by discussing how beauty stems from within, blah blah, rah rah. Yes, yes we all know an ugly personality does no glamour any favours, but in this crazy world we live in that places so much emphasis on the importance of self-image, I thought I would make it a point to define my idea of beauty.
Not really a fan of the androgynous or ethereal looks that have graced the catwalks over the past few years, and stared me down from the inside of magazine pages, my idea of beauty is quite simply this:
Kim Kardashian and Monica Bellucci, two women I would give anything to look like and who I also believe are the epitome of beauty. I am not one to be jealous of other women, yes I wish I had longer legs and a slim nose… but other women don’t really phase me, possibly because I already feel comfortable and confident about who I am. However these two make me wish I had their goddess-like features! Sigh! Complete and utter awe.
